Heritage Machining Co. is a CNC production machine shop that is engaged in the manufacturing 
and machining of precision parts and components from raw material to the finished product.  
Our Heritage started 1981 as Precision Specialties Co., which provided service for  a variety of companies ranging from 
government to commercial  contractors for life support systems, the aerospace industry, 
medical instruments, and film and video components.Our field of  expertise lies in CNC Turning & Milling.  
Although we are primarily  a production job shop, we are also equipped for short runs and some prototype 
work.  We machine a wide range of material's, such as stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and some plastics.

As a manufacturer of precision components, we understand the need for quality and the demand for on-time performance as well as the importance of lower costs. We pride ourselves on being able to meet our customer's needs for quick turnarounds while maintaining a level of quality that is second to none.

Mill Department

For high accuracy and quick rapids, we use Kitamura and Takisawa CNC vertical machining centers. All of these mills are equipped with automatic multi-tool turrets, programmable indexers, and a large selection of other support tooling. Some of these machines have rapids of 1400 inches per minute. They are also capable of performing high-speed rigid tapping, which allows for less manual labor.

Quality Control

Heritage Machining Co. maintains our Q.C. department in accordance
with MIL-I-45208A.  To help maintain the highest quality possible, all 
jobs are issued shop travelers to track all operations and procedures. 
 Each operation is inspected to insure that the operation has been 
completed per blue print.  All records are traceable and kept for a 
period of five years.  Our inspection  equipment is  checked and 
calibrated periodically and calibration reports  are maintained.  
Copies of our Quality Control Manual are  available upon request.

Supported By an assortment of manual equipment such 
as lathes, mills, drillpresses, grinders and a large variety of 
cutting tools, our production department is well equipped to support 
your short run, prototype and long term production needs.

Our lathe department is equipped with a wide range of CNC turning centers such as Mori Seiki, and Hitachi Seiki CNC lathes. These machines are able to travel at rapids of up to 1200 inches per minute. They can hold close tolerances and surface finishes on diameters up to 8 inches and lengths up to 19 inches. Most of our CNC Lathes are equiped with bar feeders, which allows for fully automatic operation.
